When you buy a refurbished CaterCombi combi oven, you’re not just buying a machine — you’re buying confidence that it will perform day after day in a demanding kitchen environment.
To give our customers complete peace of mind, we follow a rigorous, multi-stage refurbishment process guided by our detailed 50+ point service checklist. This isn’t a quick clean and polish. It’s a thorough mechanical, electrical, and functional overhaul based on the manufacturer’s own high standards.
Here’s exactly what we check and service on every CaterCombi unit before it leaves our workshop:
Maintenance Preparation
Service data backup, software updates, full diagnostics readout, and fault code clearing.
Cabinet Door Maintenance
Door lock, hinges, gasket, contact switch, drip tray, lighting — everything tested for perfect operation and steam-tight performance.
Interior Cabinet Inspection
Probes, fan wheel, heating element, motor seal, racks, clima flap, and full corrosion check.
Water Supply & Drainage
Pressure testing, all connections, hand shower, drain valve, CleanJet pumps — all leak-free and scale-free.
Steam Generator Service
Full tightness inspection, SC-pump test, descaling (when needed), level electrode, and hose condition.
Electrical & Control Panel
Cable insulation, contactors, PCB temperatures, amp draw tests, touch screen, dial, and all indicators.
Final Function Tests & Installation Checks
Sensor resets, exhaust system, levelling, and full operational testing in all modes.
Gas Units
Extra checks on burner, ignition electrode, and gas blower.
Why this matters?
Most refurbishers only do surface-level work. We go deep — replacing wear parts where necessary and documenting everything.
Every refurbished CaterCombi we supply is restored to a high standard, thoroughly tested, and backed by our detailed service process. It also comes with 3 months parts warranty for your peace of mind.
